Dealing with the Submandibular Gland in Facelift Surgery

This post is intended for surgeons or facelift patients that have large submandibular glands.  In these patients, a facelift rejuvenates the face and neck, but the hypertrophied or ptotic glands can cause a bulge if not reduced.  This video discusses and demonstrates partial submandibular gland excision in facelift surgery.  This video show actual surgery and may be graphic for some viewers.
